( About · Photographer & artist )
HI, I'M JOE
I make photographs for a living and art for the love of it. Most weeks that means both: a boardroom of headshots in the morning, a sold-out show at night, and a skyline I've been waiting months to shoot in exactly the right light.
I'm based in Tampa Bay and work across Florida and beyond. Clients hire me for portraits that feel like them, event coverage that captures the energy in the room, and commercial work that actually sells. Collectors find me for the other side of the practice: long exposures stacked until traffic turns into rivers of light, multiple exposures layered in camera, and shutter-drag studies that look more like paintings than photographs.
The two sides feed each other. Years of shooting fast-moving concerts in difficult light make me calm and quick in a studio. Years of chasing the perfect moonrise make me patient enough to wait for the real expression. Whatever we're making, you get a plan, honest direction during the shoot, and finished images I'm proud to put my name on.
( How it works )
Three steps
- 01
Plan
A quick call to understand what you need and how you'll use the photos. Location, wardrobe, timing and a shot list, all sorted before the shoot day.
- 02
Shoot
Relaxed and directed. I'll tell you exactly what to do with your hands. You'll see images on screen as we go, so there are no surprises.
- 03
Finish
Every select is color graded and retouched by hand, then delivered in a private online gallery sized for web, social and print.

( The studio )
A room built for light.
Headshots, portraits, fashion and product work happen in the studio, with full lighting, backdrops and room to move. Everything else happens wherever the story is: your office, a stage, a rooftop, or a few hundred feet above the bay.
